The safe exit is almost the same as the safe entry only in reverse, start by laying baby on the poolside with their feet at the edge and head away, stand to the side of your baby, place both hands on the wall and lift your upper body out of the water, bring one knee onto the poolside and slowly push yourself up and out of the pool. If baby is sitting up and you know they can sit without assistance you can sit baby on the poolside, just ensure they are far enough away from the pool edge so that they wont fall into the pool.
